ABOUT US
I (Amethyst) have a foundation as a colorist and have begun to explore text within composition to balance the inner psyche with the outer experience with nature. I combine my poetry, found object and spelunks in color. These recent explorations are done with a slow, meditative hand. In February 2016 Robb Williams and I will exhibit at Art Enables in Washington DC and share our findings and art-i-facts.
For me painting is a poetic expression. The colors are phrases I have not learned the alphabet for it. Words express a mood I cannot achieve in painting. Usually I will blend poetic’s with paintings, But these works stand alone as pure form not meant to be blended.
SERVICES
Art Maker
I create art in many forms using archival to unconventional materials depending on what the artifact needs. These "artifacts" are exhibited in many venues and can be accessed by the public.
Observationist
By quietly observing the world around and within I find much source material and comprehed trends. As I writer and advocate I document and share findings with my community.
Collection Consultant
I collect my own artwork and works by other artists. I believe there are many ways to collect art and it should be affordable. By offering installment plans of payment and rental options the new collector can build a personal viewing experience.
